Abstract:
To provide a fuel production system capable of producing liquid fuel while sufficiently using renewable energy.SOLUTION: A fuel production system includes: a gasification apparatus having a gasification furnace for gasifying a biomass raw material and generating synthesis gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide; a liquid fuel production apparatus for producing liquid fuel from the synthesis gas generated by the gasification apparatus; an electrolytic apparatus for generating hydrogen from water by electric power generated using renewable energy; a hydrogen tank for accumulating hydrogen generated by the electrolytic apparatus; hydrogen residual quantity acquisition means for acquiring a hydrogen residual quantity in the hydrogen tank; a hydrogen supply apparatus for supplying hydrogen accumulated in the hydrogen tank to the gasification apparatus; and a control apparatus for executing hydrogen used quantity-increasing control of decreasing an H2/CO ratio of the synthesis gas generated by reaction in the gasification furnace and increasing a hydrogen supply quantity, when a hydrogen residual quantity is higher than a predetermined quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
