Abstract:
To suppress a loss of a flow in a nozzle, and a variation of a flow rate in each injection hole.SOLUTION: A fuel injection nozzle comprises a plurality of injection holes 2. A first R-face 21, and a second R-face 22 which is connected to the first R-face and has an R-radius larger than that of the first R-face are formed at an inlet end edge 16 of the injection hole. When setting an angle position around an injection hole axis having a radius progressing toward a base end side in a nozzle axis C1 direction from an injection hole axis C2 as a reference angle position θ0, the second R-face is arranged at a part or the whole of an angle region between the reference angle position and a maximum angle position θ1 which rotates around the injection hole axis from the reference angle position by Δθmax=120°. An R-radius of the second R-face is gradually increased as separating from the first R-face, and an R-radius of the second R-face when reaching the maximum is 1.2 times or larger of the R-radius of the first R-face, and has a size at which the second R-face does not interfere with the adjacent injection hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
