Abstract:
To suppress local wear on an inclined raceway surface of an outer ring of a cross roller bearing without greatly increasing cost.SOLUTION: An annular groove 3c extending in a circumferential direction is formed at a central part in a depth direction of each inclined raceway surface 3a of an outer ring 1, so that one end surface in the axial direction of a roller 5 comes into contact with a groove edge part on both sides of the annular groove 3c, contact surface pressure is lower than when the one end surface of the roller comes into contact with the central part in the depth direction of the flat inclined raceway surface of the outer ring; therefore, it is possible to suppress local wear of the inclined raceway surface 3a of the outer ring 1. Moreover, since the annular groove 3c of the inclined raceway surface 3a of the outer ring 1 is formed only by providing a protrusion part depending on the shape of the annular groove 3c of the inclined raceway surface 3a on a grindstone that grinds the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 1 during manufacturing of a bearing, it has little effect on the overall cost of the bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
