Abstract:
To appropriately transmit uncompressed RAW data from an imaging apparatus to an external apparatus.SOLUTION: A transmitter unit transmits uncompressed RAW data to an external apparatus through a transmission line. When the external apparatus does not support uncompressed RAW data, a control unit controls the transmitter unit not to perform output processing to output the uncompressed RAW data to the transmission line. For example, an information receiver unit receives identification information, which indicates that the external apparatus supports uncompressed RAW data, from the external apparatus through the transmission line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
