Abstract:
To provide an ink-jet printer that easily and inexpensively prevents printing quality from being deteriorated by the influence of an air current.SOLUTION: An ink-jet printer (10) comprises a suction-attachment and conveyance mechanism (20) for conveying a printing medium (P) in the state of being attached by being sucked and held on a conveyance surface 22a, and a printing part (13) that performs printing by discharging ink onto the printing medium held in the state of being attached by being sucked and held onto the conveyance surface. An additional conveyance sheet (Q), which makes an exposed area of the conveyance surface small, is inserted and conveyed in at least one of forward and backward directions in the conveyance direction of the printing medium for being conveyed by the suction-attachment and conveyance mechanism, by a conveyance control part (29).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
