Abstract:
To provide a method for easily confirming the validity of forced deformation of a curtain wall in an initial stage of facade planning to which a cold vent is applied.SOLUTION: A method for easily confirming the validity of forced deformation of a curtain wall comprises the steps of: calculating the maximum main stress of a face material for each of a plurality of different values of a torsion ratio by using the amount of movement of a fourth vertex after deformation of the face material in the out-of-plane direction to the length of a diagonal line connecting the first vertex before deformation of the face material and the fourth vertex as a torsion ratio when deforming the face material by moving the fourth vertex of the face material in the out-of-plane direction of the face material after fixing a side including the first vertex and the second vertex of the face material and a side including the first vertex and the third vertex of the face material; creating a graph of a relationship between a plurality of different values of the torsion ratio and the maximum principal stress of the face material; calculating a predetermined allowable range of a torsion ratio in which a maximum principal stress is a predetermined value or less in a graph; and determining the dimension of the face material and the amount of movement of the fourth vertex of the face material in the out-of-plane direction based on the value of the torsion ratio within a predetermined allowable range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
