Abstract:
To provide a speed reducer which can achieve weight reduction.SOLUTION: A speed reducer includes: a casing 22; a carrier 18 disposed at the radial inner side of the casing 22; and a main bearing 24 disposed between the casing 22 and the carrier 18. The casing 22 has: a thin part 22s; a thick part 22f having a radial thickness larger than that of the thin part 22s; and a bolt hole 22h which penetrates through the thick part 22f in an axial direction.
