Abstract:
To provide a loop structure system for a heat medium pipe in an air conditioning installation capable of distributing and supplying a heat medium (hot water or cold water) of a quantity corresponding to western and eastern air conditioning loads which are different in accordance with a time zone, easily and at low cost without disposing an apparatus such as a flow restriction valve in the air conditioning installation of a large-sized construction such as a high rise building in which a plurality of shops or offices are tenants.SOLUTION: A bypass pipe is provided for connecting two outgoing main vertical pipes with each other and two incoming main vertical pipes with each other for feeding a heat medium such as cold water or hot water to an air conditioner disposed on each floor of a large-sized building. The quantities of heat media to be pressurized by a pump and fed into both the main vertical pipes are equalized in lower ends. For example, since the quantity of the heat medium to be taken into the air conditioner of a western system becomes less in the morning and becomes more in an eastern system, a water pressure in upper parts of the eastern and western main vertical pipes becomes higher in the west and becomes lower in the east. Therefore, the heat medium flows from the west to the east in the bypass pipe connecting both the main vertical pipes with each other, and generation of an action that the heat medium lacked in the eastern system is complemented is effectively utilized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
