Abstract:
To provide a driving method for a display device, by which the decrease in visibility of a display device is suppressed.SOLUTION: In a driving method for a display device, pixel data including a first data value expressing the grayscale of a first color, a second data value expressing the grayscale of a second color different from the first color, and a third data value expressing the grayscale of a third color different from the first color and the second color is corrected. In the driving method for a display device, the maximum value, the minimum value, and the intermediate value of the first data value, the second data value, and the third value are determined by comparing the first data value, the second data value, and the third value, and first determination is performed using, as correction candidate data, the pixel data in which all the first data value, the second data value, and the third value are the same, the pixel data in which the ratio of the maximum value to the intermediate value is 1 or more and 1.5 or less, and the pixel data in which the ratio of the intermediate value to the minimum value is 1 or more and 1.5 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
