Abstract:
To provide a vehicle communication system which can be configured flexibly with secured communication redundancy.SOLUTION: A vehicle communication system 1 includes a plurality of devices 5 which is provided on a vehicle 2 to configure a communication network 6. Each of the plurality of devices 5 is configured to be communicable by wire with another device 5 which belongs to the communication network 6. Each of the plurality of devices 5 includes an external communication module 11 communicable by radio. The external communication module 11 performs communication by wire with a center ECU 12 which is the other device 5 through a wired first communication path 26. On occurrence of a fault in communication through the first communication path 26, the external communication module 11 performs communication with the central ECU 12 using a wireless second communication path 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
