Abstract:
To provide, in an on-vehicle device connected to a terminal device having a voice assistant function, a technique which can perform the activation of the voice assistant function using a specific word in a short time.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device which can be connected to a terminal device having a voice assistant function includes: a voice detector unit which performs voice recognition of a voice signal input from a microphone to control a variety of functions of the on-vehicle device based on the recognition result; and an interface unit which communicates with the terminal device. The interface unit, when notified that the voice detector unit detects that a specific word to activate the voice assistant function is included in the voice signal, as a result of the voice recognition of the voice signal, transmits to the terminal device the voice signal input from the microphone, without the intermediary of the voice detector unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
