Abstract:
To enhance a dust holding amount while reducing pressure loss with respect to an air filter or a filter pack provided with a pleated filter material.SOLUTION: In an air filter, an interval holding material is provided so as to extend in a direction orthogonal to a fold, on a surface of a first extension part facing a second extension part out of the two extension parts extending to both sides of the fold with the fold as a boundary. A first end of the interval holding material positioned at the fold side is positioned in a range of 3-10% of a length in a direction orthogonal to the fold of the first extension part from the fold, and the first end contacts with the second extension part. A second end of the interval holding material positioned at an opposite side to the first end is positioned in a range of 90-98% of the length of the first extension part from the fold. A length in an extension direction of the interval holding material is 75-94% of the length of the first extension part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
