Abstract:
To provide a fiber-reinforced plastic-made cylindrical body which is excellent in twist strength to a twist load and is inexpensive.SOLUTION: An FRP-made cylindrical body 1 is composed of a GFRP part 2 inside in a thickness direction and a CFRP part 3 outside in the thickness direction, in which the GFRP part 2 is a laminate in which a plurality of GFRP layers formed by winding a glass fiber prepreg composed of a glass fiber 4 and a thermosetting resin 5 are laminated, the CFRP part 3 is a laminate in which a plurality of CFRP layers formed by winding a carbon fiber prepreg composed of a carbon fiber and a thermosetting resin 5 are laminated, and the ratio between a thickness of the GFRP part 2 and a thickness of the CFRP part 3 [(thickness of CFRP part 3)/(thickness of GFRP part 2)] is 0.8 to 1.2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
