Abstract:
To provide a device for performing electrolysis with higher energy efficiency and its operation method.SOLUTION: An electrolysis device 1 includes: a plurality of electrolyte units 11U each having an electrolytic cell 11 and an AC-DC power converter 110 configured to supply DC power (UDC, IDC) to the electrolytic cell; a plurality of electrolyte assemblies 11A each having a plurality of electrolyte units; at least one wind turbine including a generator 10G having a plurality of armature coils 10W, in which each of the armature coils supplies AC power to each of the electrolyte assemblies; and a converter unit controller 11C configured to adjust the AC-DC power converter of the electrolyte unit based on the power output of a generator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
