Abstract:
To provide an EGR system of an engine superior in durability of an EGR cooler by effectively roughly removing heat of an EGR gas.SOLUTION: An EGR passage 40 for circulating an exhaust gas to an intake passage 20, includes an EGR internal passage 44 passing through the inside of a cylinder head 11 at an upstream side with respect to an EGR cooler 41. The EGR internal passage 44 has a bent pipe portion 70 including: a first bending portion 71 for bending an upstream-side part of the EGR internal passage 44 in a direction to separate from a gas inflow port 41a of the EGR cooler 41; a second bending portion 72 for bending the EGR internal passage 44 in a direction to approach the gas inflow port 41a; and an intermediate portion 73 for connecting them. A water cooling passage 50 is disposed around the bent pipe portion 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
