Abstract:
To provide a vehicle type discrimination system capable of reducing erroneous vehicle type discrimination.SOLUTION: A vehicle type discrimination system 1 comprises: a license plate reader 14 that acquires a license plate number of a vehicle passing through a lane of a tollhouse on a toll road; a vehicle type discrimination device 10 for discriminating a vehicle type of the vehicle; a correction device 30 that accepts an input of correction information when the license plate number or the vehicle type is incorrect; a tollhouse server 40 that generates registration information in which the license plate number acquired by the license plate reader 14, the vehicle type discriminated by the vehicle type discrimination device 10, and the correction information are associated with each other, and stores the generated registration information in a first storage medium 42; and an upper-level server 50 that collects the registration information from each of the plurality of tollhouse servers 40 and stores the collected registration information in a second storage medium 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
