Abstract:
To provide a light-emitting device in which a plurality of light-emitting element parts are connected in series and the connection reliability of an electrode for external connection is improved.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1 includes: a substrate 11; a plurality of light-emitting element parts 12 and 13 having a p-type semiconductor layer and an n-type semiconductor layer stacked on the substrate 11, separated within a surface, and connected in series to each other through a wiring layer 17; a light-emitting element including a p-electrode 121 connected electrically to the p-type semiconductor layer and an n-electrode 132 connected electrically to the n-type semiconductor layer in each of the light-emitting element parts, a first electrode 123 formed on the p-electrode in the light-emitting element part on the most upstream side in the current path, and a second electrode 133 formed on the n-electrode in the light-emitting part on the most downstream side in the current path; and a coating member 20 having the p-electrode 121 and the n-electrode 132 embedded therein and exposing the first electrode 123 and the second electrode 133.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
