Abstract:
To improve rigidity of a roller support member while suppressing increase in size of a device.SOLUTION: A yarn winding machine 4 comprises a bobbin holder 24, a traverse device 22, a contact roller 25 for applying a contact pressure to a plurality of packages P formed by winding a plurality of yarns Y around a plurality of bobbins B, respectively, and a roller support member 26 for supporting the contact roller 25 in a freely rotatable manner. The roller support member 26 includes arm parts 31 freely rotatably supporting at least both end portions in a front-back direction of the contact roller 25, which extends outward at least in a radial direction from a center portion in the radial direction of the contact roller 25; and a rigidity improvement part 32 to which the arm parts 31 at both the end portions are fixed, which is provided in a region that is not overlapped with the bobbin holder 24 and the traverse device 22 when viewed from a front-back direction. The rigidity improvement part 32 has a portion whose length in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the arm parts 31 extend is longer than each of the arm parts 31 when viewed from a front-back direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
