Abstract:
To provide an electric discharge machine which requires a pressing member such as a nut or an abutting plate, which is sufficiently screw-advanced or screw-retreated when replacing a filter, and can fix the filter by a simpler method.SOLUTION: An electric discharge machine includes: a filter which has a discharging tank, a dirty liquid tank, a circulation pump, a filter element, and a filter case; a fixing mechanism 5 which fixes the filter, a clean liquid tank, and a liquid feeding pump. The fixing mechanism 5 has a bracket 51 fixed at a prescribed position, a rotation member 53 rotatably connected to the bracket 51, a lever 6 which has a link 61 having one end connected to the rotation member 53, a nut 63 provided at the other end of the link 61, and a rod 65 screwed with the nut 63, an engaged member 55 which is fixed to the bracket 51 and is engaged with the rod 65, and a pressing member 7 which has one end connected to the rotation member 53 and the other end pressing the filter case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
