Abstract:
To prevent occurrence of an accident by completely detecting a specific event to be a sign of an accident so as to reliably issue alert at appropriate timing in various facilities.SOLUTION: An accident sign detection system includes: a plurality of cameras 1 for imaging a monitoring area; and a monitoring server 2 for controlling issuing of alert based on captured images of the cameras 1. The monitoring server 2 performs: setting a detection area in the periphery of an entrance (a getting-on place of an escalator) of a dangerous point as a monitoring area; setting an alert-issuing area at a position adjacent to a dangerous point from the detection area; detecting a person in the detection area based on captured images for each one of the plurality of cameras 1; detecting a specific event concerning the person; and performing control to issue alert in response to a detection result of the specific event concerning the person when the person detected in the detection area enters the alert-issuing area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
