Abstract:
To provide a crane that can sense a distance to an object, regardless of an attachment/detachment state of an attachable/detachable accessory component.SOLUTION: A crane 1, which can travel, is equipped with: first distance sensing means 41, mounted on an accessory component (a front-side outrigger unit 51) mounted attachagbly and detachably, which senses a distance to an object G; second distance sensing means 42, mounted on a portion which is exposed when the accessory component (the front-side outrigger unit 51) is detached, which senses the distance to the object G; attachment/detachment state sensing means 56 that senses an attachment/detachment state of the accessory component (the front-side outrigger unit 51); and a selecting part 64 that selects and activates either of the first distance sensing means 41 and the second distance sensing means 42, on the basis of sensed information by the attachment/detachment state sensing means 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
