Abstract:
To provide an external microphone device materializing reduction of noise due to addition of a predetermined function such as a noise cancellation function in an external microphone.SOLUTION: An option microphone device 2 being an external microphone device is connected to a radio unit 1 via a connection cable 3. The connection cable 3 includes a power source line L1, a voice line L2, and a ground line L4. The option microphone device 2 includes: a microphone 22; a storage capacitor 24 storing power source voltage; a noise cancellation unit 23 removing noise from a voice signal output from the microphone 22 and outputting only the voice signal; a switch 25 connected between the power source line L1 and the storage capacitor 24 or the noise cancellation unit 23; and a control unit 20 controlling the switch 25. The control unit 20 performs control in such a manner that the power source line L1 is connected to the storage capacitor 24 during non-transmission, and the storage capacitor 24 is connected to a power source terminal of the noise cancellation unit 23 during transmission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
