Abstract:
To obtain a vehicle which allows arms of an occupant seated on a vehicle seat to be rested during an automatic operation mode while inhibiting reduction of a space around a seat of the vehicle seat.SOLUTION: A vehicle 10 includes: a vehicle seat 20 having a seat back 24 which supports a back part of an occupant P seated on a seat cushion 22; expansion/contraction members 30 each of which is buried at an outer end part as seen in a seat width direction of the seat back 24, expands to protrude to the seat front side, and contracts to return to an original state; an automatic operation controller which controls traveling in an automatic operation mode, in which a driver can keep his/her hands off at least a steering wheel 18; and a controller which controls the expansion/contraction members 30 so that the expansion/contraction members 30 expand during the automatic operation mode. The expansion/contraction member 30 forms an armrest 26 which can support an arm Pa of the occupant P when expanded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
