Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an antibacterial hollow fiber membrane which achieves drinking water contamination suppression and cost reduction, an antibacterial hollow fiber membrane having sufficient antibacterial property and excellent water permeation capability, and having characteristics as to purify water even by a natural pressure (gravity), and an air purification mechanism having antibacterial characteristics even for drinking water to be stored.SOLUTION: A method for producing an antibacterial hollow fiber membrane includes the steps of: melting a polymer resin on which copper nano-particles are vapor-deposited, a polymer resin on which copper nano-particles are not vapor-deposited, and an additive in an organic solvent and producing a polymer solution; mixing the organic solvent and the additive and producing an internal coagulating agent; charging the polymer solution and the internal coagulating agent into a double nozzle and emitting the polymer solution and the internal coagulating agent to an air gap, then immersing the polymer solution and the internal coagulating agent passing through the air gap in an external coagulating agent; and producing a hollow fiber membrane through a phase transition process, wherein the polymer resin on which the copper nano-particles are vapor-deposited is 5 wt.% to 9 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the polymer resin on which the copper nano-particles are vapor-deposited and the polymer resin on which the copper nano-particles are not vapor-deposited.SELECTED DRAWING: None
