Abstract:
To provide a cell detachment method with high cell viability and stable cell detachment efficiency even when cells or culture conditions are changed.SOLUTION: Provided is a cell detachment method for detaching cells from a substrate by imparting vibration to cells adhered to the substrate, the method comprising: an incubation step of incubating cells after making the cells contact a cell detachment solution that does not substantially contain a proteolytic enzyme; an information obtaining step of obtaining information about the incubated cells; a determining step of determining when to impart vibration to the incubated cells based on the information about the cells; and a detachment step of imparting vibration to the incubated cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
