Abstract:

To provide a method for producing an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPS cell) capable of initializing a somatic cell without using a feeder cell or without adhesion of a cell to a substrate.SOLUTION: In the production of an iPS cell, following steps are performed: I. an initializing gene is introduced into a somatic cell of a liquid medium; and II. the cell having the introduced gene is subjected to initialization and amplification culture in a non-gelling medium under a suspension culture condition with the medium being flowed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
