Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the interference of an operator and to prevent the restart of data reception from being delayed by monitoring a carrier detecting signal for deciding the existence of a fault in a receiving line which is applied to data obtained from the receiving line, and when the line is restored, automatically restarting the data reception. CONSTITUTION:The state of a carrier detecting signal is applied to data received by a communication control equipment 1 and transferred to a central processing unit(CPU)2. The CPU 2 receives the data to which the state of the carrier detecting signal is applied and controls the state of the carrier detecting signal transferred from the equipment 1 while referring a carrier detecting signal state control table. The carrier detecting signal is turned off (0) at the time of generating a fault, and turned off (1) at the time of restoration, so that reception can be automatically restarted at the time of turning the carrier detecting signal from OFF to ON. Thus, the data reception can be automatically restarted without the interference of an operator after restoring the fault of the line.
