Abstract:
The object of the invention is to keep a part (10) on standby so that it can be reliably held by a feed rod. An auxiliary feed rod (5) is provided with an arrangement (11) for holding a part at a fixed position in advance. The part is stopped on the advance and retraction axis (23) of a main feed rod (20) by the advance movement of the auxiliary feed rod (5). And a device (26) is provided whereby on this axis the part is held on the main feed rod.
