Abstract:
PURPOSE:To preclude underexposure and a hand-shape phenomenon by controlling switching between a field and a frame image pickup mode according to the focal length of an optical system or the preparation end signal of an auxiliary light emitting means. CONSTITUTION:When subject brightness is inputted from a measuring circuit 9 to a control circuit 10 through a line (b), the circuit 10 computes the optimum aperture value and shutter speed. A stop 2 and a shutter 4 are controlled through lines (a) and (c) according to the arithmetic results. Further, when a signal which turns off for wide-angle photography or on for telephotography by the switching member of a focus adjusting part 8 is inputted to the control circuit 10 through a line (g), the circuit 10 performs the switching between the film and frame photographic modes of an image sensor 5 through a line (d) according to the focal length and by receiving the preparation end signal from a stroboscope light emission part 12, also performs stroboscope light emission control through a line (i), and further switches the gain of a signal processing circuit 6.
