Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve an operability by inputting an Arabic numeral, selecting a converting mode in accordance with a priority stored by a conversion designation to convert the numeral, and providing a mode for converting into a Chinese numeral and a mode for adding a scaling symbol in the converting mode. CONSTITUTION:With respect to an Arabic numeral inputted from a keyboard 10, a conversion processing having the same meaning by one type in plural types of notations is carried out. Correspondingly to the plural types of notations respectively, a converting mode is previously is determined and a priority for storing the converting mode is stored in a priority storing section 12. By a converting designation, a mode determining section 13 selects one of the converting modes according to the information of the storing section 12 to outputs to a numeral converting section 14 and the converting section 14 performs the numeral conversion corresponding to the converting mode to display on a display 17. In the converting mode, there are provided at least a mode for converting the inputted numeral into a Chinese numeral and a mode for adding a scaling symbol in the inputted numeral and these are designated by pressing a key of the keyboard 10 down. IN this manner, an operability is improved.
