Abstract:
1. The use of a molybdenum-free, chromium-containing alloy consisting of 21 to 55% by weight chromium, 0 to 30% by weight iron, 0 to 5% by weight tungsten, 45 to 79% by weight nickel, and typical accompanying elements, such as carbon, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, nitrogen, aluminium, copper, vanadium, titanium, tantalum and niobium, as a material for objects in contact with and resistant to sulfuric acid having a concentration above 96%.
