Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a developing characteristic of the second developing means in an image forming device provided with plural developing devices, by providing a magnetic field generating means for attracting a magnetic particle which has adhered onto a developer carrying body, in the vicinity of the developer carrying body of the developing means for using a one-component developer. CONSTITUTION:The second developing means for developing the second latent image is provided so as to be opposed to an image carrying body which has carried a developed image of the first latent image, and the second latent image. Also, the titled device is provided with a magnetic field generating means 65 which is opposed to the second developer carrying surface of a carrying means, and also, provided on the upstream side from the second developer containing part 64 of the second developing means 6 and on the downstream side of a developing part 1, with regard to the moving direction of the second developer, and forms the attracting surface for attracting a magnetic particle of the first developer which has adhered to the carrying means. The magnetic particle which has adhered onto a developer carrying body 61 is attracted and caught by a magnetic field generating means 65, and a magnetic brush of the magnetic particle is formed on the developer carrying body 61. In such a way, it can be prevented that the development which has been developed already is put into disorder, and mixing of a toner is generated.
