Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a storing space by a method wherein when a small bundle of paper moneys is put into a storing box, bundled parts are placed on one another alternately so that the height of the stacked bundles of paper moneys is made lower and hence the number of the stored bundles increases. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined number of stacked paper moneys having been fed into a bundling mechanism 1 by means of a transfer mechanism are brought to a stop at a first step position P1, one of the longitudinal ends of the stacked paper moneys is bundled by the mechanism 1. And when stacked paper moneys having been fed into the mechanism 1 by means of the transfer mechanism pass the position P1 and are brought to a stop at a second step position P2, the other end of the stacked paper moneys is bundled by the mechanism 1. Small bundles of paper moneys 5 having been bundled at one longitudinal end thereof and those S having been bundled at the other end thereof are successively put in a storing box 2 in such a manner that the bundled ends are stacked alternately with each other. As a result, the height of the stacked bundles can be made lower and hence the number of bundles of paper moneys which can be stored increases.
