Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suitably use a catalyst at extremely high temp. by enhancing heat resistance, by forming a heat resistance catalyst from a composite oxide composition having a laminar aluminate type crystal structure represented by a specific general formula. CONSTITUTION:A heat resistance catalyst based on a composition represented by formula I (wherein A is one or more kind of an element selected from Ca, Ba and Sr, C is K and/or Rb, B is one or more kind of an element selected form Mn, Co, Fe, Ni, Cu and Cr, z is a number of 0-0.4, x is a number of 0.1-4, y is a number of x-3x and alpha is represented by formula II) is prepared. A platinum group noble metal such as Pt, Ru, Rh, Pd or the like is suitably carried as a catalystic component by this heat resistant catalyst.
