Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow a main CPU and subordinate CPU to exchange information appropriately by transmitting a signal for one piece of information several times from one CPU and comparing several signals so as to decide correctness and incorrectness in the other CPU when one CPU offers information for the other CPU. CONSTITUTION:The main CPU 2 outputs a command including data not to be transmitted. The subordinate CPU 4 stores the signal. Moreover, the main CPU 2 outputs a signal (check sum) identical to the outputted signal. The subordinate CPU 4 compares the initially stored signal with the check sum that has been outputted second time, judges outputted information to be correct if these two signals are the same and outputs a command indicating that the information is transmitted normally and the check sum to the main CPU 2. Consequently, a means displaying information about the actions of a camera and a date information display means can be disposed at one place, whereby one CPU can control them. As a result, the camera can be reduced in size and weight.
