Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve cooldown performance, by a method wherein, when temperature in a car room and a coolant vaporizing temperature in an evaporator exceeds their respective given values, control of the internal volume of a variable volume compressor is prohibited to hold the compressor in a maximum volume state. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioning device is provided with coolant suction and discharge ports 21 and 22 and a variable volume mechanism 50 to control a discharge amount of a coolant according to a coolant suction pressure. Further, it is provided with a variable volume compressor 2 driven by means of an engine 12. In this constitution, a volume setting mechanism 51 is provided for stopping actuation of the variable volume mechanism 50 to hold the volume of the compressor 2 at a maximum value. Moreover, it is provided with a means 101 to detect temperature in a car room and a means 102 to detect the vaporizing temperature of a coolant in an evaporator 6. Finally, a control means 104 is provided for actuating the volume setting mechanism 50 when temperature in the car room and a coolant evaporating temperature exceed their respective given values, and holding the compressor 2 in a maximum volume state.
