Abstract:
PURPOSE:To fix a thermoelectric element to a prescribed position with good accuracy by a method wherein, when the thermoelectric element is attached to an insulating board, the thermoelectric element is fixed temporarily to the insulating board by means of the adhesive property of a flux with which the insulating board and the thermoelectric element have been coated and, after that, it is soldered by applying heat. CONSTITUTION:One prescribed insulating board 1a out of two insulating boards is coated, by a transcription operation or the like, with an adhesive flux used to fix thermoelectric elements 4 temporarily. It is set on a hot plate 22 equipped with a heater 21 in a prescribed position. Then, the thermoelectric elements 4 are arranged and installed in prescribed positions under predetermined conditions; they are fixed temporarily. When they have been fixed temporarily, a heat-resistant rubber sheet 23 of a fluorine-contained rubber or the like is placed on the thermoelectric elements 4 while the previously arranged and installed thermoelectric elements 4 are not moved; they are pressed downward by using a pressure mechanism 24. When the hot plate 22 is heated by using the heater 21 in this state, the individual thermoelectric elements 4 are bonded to individual corresponding electrodes 2 by a solder-plated part 2 of an insulating board 1 and by solder-plated parts of the thermoelectric elements 4.
