Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a motor of high quality with less cogging and much torque, by a method wherein the motor is provided with a ring-formed magnet which is multipolar-magnetized in the radial direction, and non-magnetized areas are formed between magnetized areas each. CONSTITUTION:A ring-formed magnet 2 with substantially even thickness is provided with magnetized areas of N poles 21 and S poles 22 which are alternately arranged via non-magnetized areas 23 in the radial direction, separated one another. And a motor is formed by cores 1 having salient poles 11 which are arranged confronting to the outer diameter side or the inner diameter side of the ring-formed magnet 2. Then, the magnetization angle theta of each magnetized area 21 or 22 may be determined in the range of (360 deg./number of salient-pole) X(1.03-1.17), and the number salient-pole may be selected to be 3 X integral numbers and the number of magnetized area to be 2 X integral numbers.
