Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable decomposition of gas by which a smell is caused and to bring the gas into an odorless state by a method wherein waste plastic and animal waste are dry-distilled to generate unburnt combustible gas, and the generated production gas is completely burnt in a combustion zone in a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:Waste plastics, e.g., waste tyres 13, and animal waste 14 are alternately charged in a dry-distilling chamber 1 and piled up in a sandwiched state. A part of the waste tyres 13 placed on the bottom part 1d of the dry-distilling chamber 1 is burnt to form an oxidation layer 15, the interior of the dry-distilling chamber 1 is heated, and the animal waste 14 is brought into a dry-distilled state by means of the heat of the oxidation layer 15. Mixture gas of combustible and incombustible components, e.g., carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, is produced from the waste tyres 13 and the animal waste 14. Production gas G passes through the high temperature oxidation layer 15 formed in the vicinity of a bottom part 1d of the dry-distilling chamber 1 by means of a venturi part 12 formed at a coupling part 7 and is heated to a high temperature to feed it to a combustion chamber 5. Air is fed in the combustion chamber 5 with the aid of an air fan 10, and the production gas G is completely burnt in a combustion circle 16 in the combustion chamber 5 at a high temperature and is discharged through a discharge port 6 of a combustion chamber 5b.
