Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency by inclining the cylinder of an engine forward so as to face a position under a radiator, forming a ventilation passage among the engine, a fuel tank and a seat from the back face of the radiator and arranging an exhaust pipe in the ventilation passage. CONSTITUTION: The cylinder 3b of an engine 4 is inclined so as to be faced to a position under a radiator 14. Therefore, the height of the engine 4 is made low, and a ventilation passage 15 extending backward from the back face of the radiator 14 is formed among the engine 4, a fuel tank and a seat 6. The exhaust pipe 17 of the cylinder 4b is arranged in the ventilation passage 15 so as to extend rearward. Therefore, the running wind flowing from air intake port of a cowling 21 is smoothly discharged rearward directly along the exhaust pipe 17 while cooling the radiator 14. Through operation, cooling efficiency by the radiator 14 can be improved, and due to the concurrence of exhaust direction and the flow direction of running wind, exhaust resistance can also be reduced.
