Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent scattering of characteristics and generation of audible sound by enabling a drive electrode which is formed at a piezoelectric body which constitutes a vibrating body to be nearly equal to a standard function of a standing wave which constitutes an acoustic traveling wave which drives the vibrating body. CONSTITUTION:A structure of drive electrodes 8-10 of a piezoelectric body 11 which constitutes a vibrating body is constituted to be nearly equal to a standard function of a standing wave which constitutes an acoustic traveling wave which drives the vibrating body, thus allowing the standing wave with less influence of non-uniformity of load and less standing wave constituents to drive the vibrating body. Therefore, the vibrating body can be in uniform contact with a traveling body and only an area near a wave front of the standing wave of a deflection vibration which is driven by the vibration body can be in contact with the vibrating body positively. Thus, drive force which is generated due to deformation of the vibrating body can be efficiently transmitted to the moving body, motor efficiency is improved, and contact between the traveling body and vibrating body can be maintained to be proper.
