Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a strong tensile strength and a light weight, and to prevent the withdrawal of the net by forming the net with warps and woofs of contructed fibers, placing meshes and close parts of net in a specific scope, and forming the both members alternatively. CONSTITUTION:The warps 2 and the woofs 3 of a net for civil engineering work are formed by gauze-weaving two even threads of polyester filament. The meshes of the nets 6 are made 10mm to 30mm angle, and the width L of the close parts 4 is made 10mm or more and less than 50mm. And the close parts 4 are placed successively in the longitudinal direction placing a specific interval D. The interval D is made 400mm or more and less than 1500mm. As a result, both the tensile strength and the shearing stress are strong enough, the threads are never withdrawn or slipped, and the normal surface collapse of a banking can be prevented.
