Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible, with a simple and inexpensive construction, to communicate with information systems and to detect obstacles in the vicinity of a vehicle by supplying, to the bulbs of headlamps, an output modulated in accordance with specified signals, from a power source. CONSTITUTION:An output e modulated in accordance with a specified input a is supplied from a power source 26 to a headlmap bulb 21. At the power source 26, then, electricity d of an input electricity source 23 is regulated by a power control part 22, and a control signal b is put out from a signal emitting part 25 in accordance with a control signal a from the outside 27, and the control condition of the power control part 22 is controlled by a control part 24 in accordance with the control signal b being put out. A specified signal a is placed upon the light f emitted from the headlamp bulb 21, or the light f is modulated by the same signal a and projected ahead, which makes it possible to communicate with information systems and to detect obstacles in the vicinity of a vehicle with a simple and inexpensive construction.
