Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent application of caulking load and stress of a rivet onto an end board by positioning a thin iron board, which will be arranged at the end section of a yoke, at the head section or the caulking section of the rivet. CONSTITUTION:Rivet clearance bores 15 are provided around the rivet through- holes 9 of end boards 12a, 12b. Thin iron boards 14a coupled with the end boards 12a, 12b are arranged at the opposite ends of a yoke 1a mounting a permanent magnet 2 and an outer circumferential protective member 3. Then a rivet 4 is inserted into the rivet insertion hole 9 of the yoke 1a and the rivet 4 is caulked on the thin iron board 14a at the end section. Since the head section 10 and the caulked section 11 of the rivet 4 are contained in the rivet clearances 15 provided in the end boards 12a, 12b, no load nor stress is applied onto the end boards 12a, 12b.
