Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve transferability by laminating a carrier generating layer, a carrier transfer layer and a protective layer which is dispersed and incorporated with an org. pigment in a binder resin and allows substantial transmission of semiconductor laser light in this order on a conductive base. CONSTITUTION:This image forming body is formed by laminating the carrier generating layer, the carrier transfer layer and the protective layer which is dispersed and incorporated with the org. pigment in the binder resin and allows the substantial transmission of the semiconductor laser light in this order on the conductive base. The thickness of the protective layer is preferably 0.1-10mum and the ratio of the org. pigment in the protective layer is preferably 5-70wt.%. The hardness of the surface of the protective layer is preferably 2-6H pencil hardness. The excellent transferability is thereby stably obtd. over a long period of time.
