Abstract:
PURPOSE:To selectively and easily bend the tip portion side of a catheter main body from multiple directions by pulling the tip section of the catheter main body in two directions via connecting means with the movement of two moving members moved in opposite directions interlockingly with the action of an operating member. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of an internal gear 3 is converted into the movement of sliders 1, 11 via pinions 2, 12 by the screwing of a screw, a wire 30A or 30B connected to the sliders 1, 11 is pulled, and the tip section side 50 of a catheter main body is bent. When the sliders 1, 11 are moved, a metal plate 52 fixed with the tips of the wires 30 is pulled and curved. The wire 30B is delivered at this time. The tip section side 50 of the catheter main body is bent as a result. Merely small force is required to rotate the internal gear 3, the internal gear 3 is not reversed even if the sliders 1, 11 tend to return to the original positions, thus no labor is required to keep the bent state.
