Abstract:
PURPOSE:To register plural retrieved pictures as a new document without intervention of an output part and an input part by providing a means which transposes information for retrieval of documents displayed as a list. CONSTITUTION:Pictures required for generation of a new document are displayed on a display device 17. A pointing device 16 or a key board 15 is used to display contents developed in a memory 11 on the display device 17 as a pickup list 71. In case of the change of the order of pictures, the device 16 is moved to a row 81 indicating the picture to be changed in the list 71 to move this picture to an objective row. Pictures are moved upward or downward by one row demand for the purpose of fill up the moved row. This operation is repeated to form pages of the new document in order from the top of the list 71. Contents developed in the memory 11 are transposed at each time of this transposition processing. After transposition, pictures are written in a new address of an optical disk 12.
