Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a high speed operation which follows an increase of a data rate, and to realize addition of high accuracy by executing zero insertion to a digitized receiving signal from an array vibrator, at the time of addition of data to a parallel bus. CONSTITUTION:By arrayed vibrators T1-TN, an ultrasonic wave is transmitted and received and an obtained receiving signal is converted to digital data by A/D converters 14-17, and this digital data is stored in memories 20-23. Data read out of the memories 20-23 are added by polyphase adding parts 24-27, and subjected to zero insertion. An output of the polyphase adder 27 is interpolated by a low-pass filter action by an interpolator 30, converted to a video signal by a DSC 31 and displayed on a display part 32.
