Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent sticking of so-called gums in the manufacture of extrusion molding by manufacturing a plastic tube including a metallic inactive agent with hindered phenol and an NHCO structure in molecules. CONSTITUTION:When a metallic inactive agent with hindered phenol and an NHCO structure in molecules is used in the extrusion molding of a heat-resistant plastic tube, the generation of gums can be reduced in a large extent in the process. The problem of gums is serious in polyolefin, particularly an ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer, and the tube can be manufactured substantially only by adding the above-said metallic inactive agent. Also the agent can be preferably added to a heat-shrinkable tube of 105 deg.C rating or over in the UL test. The deterioration at the high temperature can be prevented by the arrangement. As the metallic inactive agent of above-said structure, N,N'-bis[3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4- hidroxyphenyl)propionyl] hydrazine is provided with the large effect.
