Abstract:
PURPOSE:To join metal sheets with different thicknesses, and to surely block that a stress concentration occurs at the joined edge. CONSTITUTION:A combined blank member 10 is later formed in a shape corresponding to a side panel by a press forming. Opening parts 28, 30 and 32 are provided near the welding position end edge part 22 of a front pillar part 12 and the welding position end edge parts 24 and 26 of a center pillar part 14. These opening parts 28,30 and 32 are equipped with plural hole parts 34 with a small diameter respectively.
